Site Reliability Engineering Professional (Python/VMware): Delivering and enhancing network tooling, automation, and lab infrastructure for mission-critical services with an accent on CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. Location: Hybrid (3 days office in London, Sheffield, or Birmingham, 2 days remote). Must hold or be eligible for SC (Security Clearance).

What you will do

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Cloud and container technologies.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring tools to maximize system uptime, performance, and reliability.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot virtual machines and integrate tools via APIs.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues while participating in change advisory boards and service reviews.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for processes and work instructions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, and VMware environments (including vCenter).
• Strong scripting and development skills in Python, PowerShell, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, XML, REST, and SOAP.
• Ability to produce detailed documentation for tooling deployments, automation, and recovery planning.
• Must hold or be eligible for SC (Security Clearance).

Nice to have

• Experience working within ITIL-aligned environments and using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Proven ability to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive service improvements.
