What you will do

• Perform set-ups for production and prototype parts using EDM equipment.
• Determine sequence of EDM operations and establish machine parameters for optimal machining rates.
• Verify set-ups against engineering drawings and operation sheets.
• Utilize inspection equipment to ensure components meet very close tolerances.
• Operate surface grinders to regrind electrodes as needed.
• Train and monitor the work of EDM Operators.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a diversified machinist.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift onsite in Buffalo, NY.
• Must be able to understand and apply work instructions in English.
• Must pass and participate in the F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
