Engineering Technician (Aerospace)

TL;DR

Engineering Technician (Aerospace): Maintaining the integrity, quality, and production of missile control actuation systems with an accent on electrohydraulic servo components and engineering tests. Focus on diagnosing performance failures, authoring production documentation, and implementing continuous improvements in assembly and test producibility.

Location: Onsite in Salt Lake City, UT (remote candidates will not be considered)

Salary: $56,000–$90,000 Annually

What you will do

• Plan and execute engineering tests, inspections, and hardware evaluations.
• Diagnose performance failures in high-precision electrohydraulic servo components and specify rework.
• Analyze data and evaluate trends to ensure product integrity.
• Create production assembly and test documentation, including routers and work instructions.
• Support technicians in assembly/test methods and anomaly diagnosis.
• Serve as a technical liaison between Project/Product Engineers and production teams.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system schematics.
• Ability to write technical engineering documentation.
• Must be able to work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT.

Nice to have

• Vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Expertise in electromechanical actuation and electronics.
• MRB (Material Review Board) experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
