What you will do

• Drive the technical design, integration, and architecture of the Embedded Accountancy product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with external financial service APIs like Sage to build secure ledger and bookkeeping syncing tools.
• Provide mentorship and strategic direction to engineering squads to ensure high code quality and architectural integrity.
• Act as a technical translator between executive stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams.
• Champion best practices including documentation standards, performance profiling, and system observability.

Requirements

• Proven experience at a Senior, Lead, or Staff Engineer level within a modern, cloud-native ecosystem.
• Strong foundations in building microservices, distributed system integration patterns, and data schema architecture.
• Exceptional technical leadership capabilities with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
