What you will do

• Lead quantitative analyses for global health challenges using predictive analytics, geospatial analysis, and causal design.
• Implement ML and AI workflows using Python and R to analyze complex datasets, such as malaria early warning systems.
• Integrate survey, administrative, and satellite data to generate actionable insights for policymakers and funders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of economists, data scientists, and sector specialists.
• Support business development by drafting technical approaches for donors like the Gates Foundation and World Bank.
• Mentor and supervise junior researchers and data scientists to foster technical excellence.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Public Policy, Global Health, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative research within policy-relevant domains.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Proficiency in Python and R, with working knowledge of Stata.
• Proven track record of designing data analytics tools, including forecasting, geospatial analyses, and LLM models.
• Experience in development/health economics and managing complex projects for government or nonprofit clients.
