What you will do

• Support the communications team with day-to-day PR needs and publicity strategies.
• Develop creative story angles, pitches, and press materials for brand and product initiatives.
• Plan and staff industry events, press tours, and company-wide events.
• Support senior leadership with awards submissions and interview briefing documents.
• Maintain media contact lists, team calendars, and executive speaking schedules.
• Collaborate across multiple departments within a matrix organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY with ability to travel occasionally.
• 5+ years of public relations and media experience, particularly in entertainment.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing.
• Proven experience with proactive pitching and media interaction.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
