What you will do

• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, and change management.
• Own Snowflake and Databricks platform operations, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Define cost management strategies and collaborate with FinOps for platform optimization.
• Implement observability through monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with vendors to align Snowflake and Databricks roadmaps with product needs.

Requirements

• Strong experience managing Databricks infrastructure at scale.
• Proven track record of delivering reliability and observability (SLOs, alerts) for high-scale SaaS.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake warehouse tuning, governance, and Terraform/DDL provisioning.
• Expertise in designing hybrid data platforms integrating both Databricks and Snowflake.
• Strong Spark skills for tuning and improving performance of large jobs.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, lakehouse architecture, CDC, and storage layout optimizations.
