What you will do

• Lead and grow a global IT team of 5 across Paris, Lisbon, New York, and Boston.
• Act as a player coach: set direction and priorities while staying hands-on with infrastructure, tooling, and escalations.
• Assess team skills, upskill existing members, and hire to shape the IT organization for the next stage.
• Shift IT from reactive helpdesk to proactive business partnership by engaging stakeholders and proposing IT-driven solutions early.
• Make AI a core part of IT operations by identifying automation opportunities (e.g., access management and onboarding) and enabling daily AI use for employees.
• Own core IT infrastructure and tooling: Azure (IaC with Terraform), Entra SSO/SCIM provisioning, Intune/Jamf endpoint management, and GitLab with a focus on automation, reliability, and cost control.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT operations, including at least 3 years managing a team.
• Hands-on administration of modern IT environments (Azure, Google Workspace, MDM/endpoint management, SaaS provisioning).
• Direct experience supporting engineering teams, including familiarity with GitLab or a similar developer environment.
• Experience using AI tools and automation to reduce manual work in IT operations, with a point of view on AI beyond IT.
• Proven track record moving teams/functions from reactive to proactive with concrete examples of automated or redesigned processes.
• Location: based in Lisbon and English: fluent (spoken and written).
