VP of Finance (Logistics)

Location: Fully remote, open to candidates based in the United States and Canada, with a few in-person offsites throughout the year.

What you will do

• Own budgeting, forecasting, rolling financial models, cash visibility, burn, runway, and capital allocation.
• Build board-grade reporting, financial analysis, controls, audit readiness, and reliable accounting operations.
• Lead revenue strategy across pricing, packaging, monetization, upsell, expansion, and enterprise deal support.
• Develop marketplace unit economics and operating metrics, including take rate, contribution margin, CAC:LTV, net revenue retention, and burn multiple.
• Lead fundraising preparation, investor and board relationships, cap table management, dilution modeling, and capital planning.
• Provide operational leadership across G&A, including People/HR, Legal, systems, processes, and team development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across finance and operations, including senior leadership at a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on experience building financial models, forecasts, board materials, and ledger-level processes.
• Experience leading or supporting growth fundraising, financial modeling, diligence, and investor or board management.
• Strong command of marketplace or usage-based accounting, revenue recognition, transaction reconciliation, and contractor or provider payouts.
• Experience building FP&A functions, scaling finance operations, and maintaining timely closes and sound controls.
• Operational breadth across revenue strategy, HR, Legal, and broader G&A, with strong marketplace unit economics knowledge.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent accounting experience.
• Experience in logistics, delivery, supply chain, or another operations-heavy marketplace.
