Senior Director, Head of Early Development Asset Operations

What you will do

• Lead operational delivery of early development programs as the single point of accountability for project management.
• Manage and develop a team of Asset Operations Leads and Project Managers supporting the early development portfolio.
• Build integrated cross-functional plans, track milestones, budgets, resources, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate clinical, regulatory, CMC, commercial, finance, and governance stakeholders to advance therapeutic programs.
• Prepare portfolio roadmaps, progress reports, decision materials, and governance discussions for senior management.
• Drive process optimization, documentation quality, knowledge sharing, and adoption of project management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, business school or master’s degree; a scientific background or PhD is ideal.
• 15+ years of experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry, including 5+ years in project management or leadership of cross-functional matrix teams.
• Experience leading global drug development programs through commercialization and managing people.
• Strong pharmaceutical R&D project management, team leadership, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
• English required; French is an ideal additional language.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and collaborative tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
