What you will do

• Define and improve the general security posture across legacy and greenfield AWS resources, including data, applications, and networks.
• Act as a subject matter expert on application, data, and network security for wider engineering teams to ensure adoption of security policies.
• Automate security embedding into the cloud platform following DevSecOps practices.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting systems with specific and relevant security data points.
• Design, implement, and evolve a Security Incident Response process and policy.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to assist with infrastructure troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure roles (predominantly AWS) within DevSecOps teams.
• Proficiency in managing infrastructure exclusively with Terraform.
• Expertise in threat assessment, IAM policies, VPC security, WAF, and CloudFront.
• Experience securing Docker images and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Golang, Java).
• Ability to interact comfortably with AWS via CLI and API.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Security Specialist.
• Hands-on experience implementing security controls within GCP.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 certification processes.
• Offensive or defensive penetration testing experience.
• Understanding of cloud-native and 12-Factor application patterns.
