What you will do

• Ensure effective monitoring and incident response for customer AWS environments.
• Lead the vulnerability management process, including detection, escalation, and remediation.
• Drive the Threat Intelligence process and report findings to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevSecOps, and IT teams to identify and patch vulnerabilities.
• Develop operational playbooks and procedures to enhance security efficiency.
• Analyze complex incidents and document lessons learned to improve tooling and processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical experience leading a team of security analysts.
• Working knowledge of AWS Security Toolchain (Security Hub, Inspector, Guard Duty) and Datadog.
• AWS Cloud Fundamentals or AWS Security Specialty certification.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for security operations and OS management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows OS vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Threat Hunting, Adversary Methodologies, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials.
• Experience with network, switch, and firewall management.
• Understanding of IT architecture and security architecture principles.
• Experience managing shifts in a 24/7 SOC environment.
