What you will do

• Identify and ship high-impact changes across mobile, web, and backend layers to drive business metrics.
• Architect scalable, reliable, and performant systems capable of handling real-world production loads and offline behavior.
• Lead cross-team technical design reviews, balancing code quality, shipping speed, and operational costs.
• Improve operational maturity in release management, observability, and incident response, particularly for mobile apps.
• Collaborate as a peer with PMs and designers to define the product roadmap and priorities.
• Set technical standards by prototyping new patterns and mentoring other engineers across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a consistent hands-on approach to coding.
• Deep expertise in the mobile ecosystem (iOS/Swift and/or Android/Kotlin), including networking, auth, and persistence.
• Proven breadth in at least one other area: web frontend, backend services, or platform infrastructure.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to make evidence-based decisions on feature scope.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues, including crash analysis and latency tracing.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to improve the productivity of surrounding team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketplaces, booking systems, or transactional consumer products.
• Knowledge of data experimentation, analytics instrumentation, or ML-adjacent work.
