What you will do

• Lead and grow a global, distributed IT team of 5 across Paris, Lisbon, and New York.
• Act as a player-coach, setting team direction while remaining hands-on with infrastructure and escalations.
• Shift IT from a reactive helpdesk model to a proactive business partner by identifying operational needs.
• Implement AI-driven automation for access management, onboarding, and daily employee workflows.
• Manage core infrastructure including Azure, SSO/SCIM provisioning, and endpoint management (Intune/Jamf).
• Partner with the CISO to align IT operations with security posture and identity management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
• Hands-on experience with modern IT environments (Azure, Google Workspace, MDM, SaaS provisioning).
• Direct experience supporting engineering teams and familiarity with GitLab.
• Proven track record of automating processes and moving functions from reactive to proactive.
• Must be based in Paris, France, and comfortable with a hybrid work model.
