Senior Customer Delivery Manager (IoT)

Location: Hybrid role based in Oakville or Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Travel is required and a passport is necessary.

Annual base salary: $100,000–$135,700 CAD, with additional benefits and potential compensation components.

What you will do

• Own the successful execution of strategic customer-facing projects, serving as the primary contact for customers and senior management.
• Lead implementations from initial concept through project closure, defining goals, deliverables, work plans, milestones, and resource integration.
• Build, motivate, and manage cross-functional project teams, including internal and external resources.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes while protecting customer experience and critical-path deliverables.
• Provide leadership reporting on milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Establish delivery best practices, tools, templates, and partnerships, collect customer feedback, and coach more junior Customer Delivery Managers.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in project management or customer delivery.
• 5–8 years of experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Strong project management, customer relationship management, leadership, diplomatic, motivational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing project teams of different sizes and holding internal and external resources accountable for performance.
• Technical competence with business software, including Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Jira.
• Ability to travel and hold a valid passport; employment is contingent on proof of work eligibility and passing a background check.

Nice to have

• Professional Project Management (PMP) certification.
• Fluency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese.
• Experience in a technical or engineering organization, the high-technology industry, or government.
• Experience negotiating vendor or client contracts.
