What you will do

• Supervise warehouse employees to achieve the highest possible levels of accuracy and productivity.
• Manage inventory flow and oversee the annual physical inventory counting processes.
• Maintain warehouse security and ensure the efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Analyze and control expenditures to meet budget requirements in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
• Evaluate and negotiate pricing with common carriers and shipping services.
• Coordinate with other managers and customers to resolve problems and expedite deliveries.

Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, minimum age of 21, and a clean motor vehicle record for deliveries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing principles, practices, and Lean process flow layout.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and operating warehouse equipment.

Nice to have

• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, and pallet jack.
