Data Manager (Clinical Research)

Salary: $50 - $70 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Lead data management activities to ensure study deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.
• Create and review electronic Case Report Form (eCRF) specifications and key DM documents (DMP, DVP, etc.).
• Develop edit rules, query logic, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on data entry screens.
• Manage database lock/unlock and freeze/unfreeze activities for statistical reviews and final locks.
• Coordinate the archiving of study databases and perform SAE and external vendor reconciliation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines and enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical, pharmacy, biological, mathematical sciences, nursing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of data management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Working knowledge of clinical research processes, regulatory requirements, and terminology.
• Proficiency in EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, OpenClinica, or Medrio.
• Experience performing duties in compliance with SOPs, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
• Must be based in Ontario, Canada (Hybrid role).
