TL;DR
Task Lead and Senior International SOF Support SME: Provide senior-level SME support for international SOF engagement while managing day-to-day contractor performance, staffing, quality assurance, travel, surge hours, and contract deliverables with an accent on coordination with USSOCOM J3-I leadership and ensuring successful transition of phased-in requirements. Focus on developing work plans and measures of performance, advising on international SOF support, and mentoring partner-nation SOF officers and senior NCOs when required.

What you will do
- Oversee and administer day-to-day project tasks, including detailed work plans and schedules for the J3-I mission and objectives.
- Assign contractor responsibilities and manage contractor travel and surge hours.
- Perform quality checks of all work products and coordinate continually with the J3-I government lead, COR, and Technical Representatives.
- Present interim results, address concerns, and ensure total product/service satisfaction and successful transition of phased-in requirements.
- Advise J3-I on international SOF support and assist J3-I leadership in managing overall program-of-work to meet CDRUSSOCOM objectives and priorities.
- Develop measures of performance/success and support strategic planning; perform close-out and escort duties as required by security procedures.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Senior (O-5 or above) Army Special Forces officer with 15 years combined experience in operations and Partner Nation (PN) development at O-6 command, TSOC, or NATO SOF HQ level
- Master’s degree in international relations (or related field) and graduate of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or equivalent military planning course
- 1-year recent (last 5 years) combat/operational experience as part of a combined joint special operations task force or TSOC staff
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with coalition SOF partners
- Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Level II (or equivalent)
Nice to have
- Experience managing T&M or CPFF service contracts (staffing, deliverables, travel, surge management)
- Experience preparing and submitting CDRL deliverables
- Familiarity with DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST SP 800-171, and CMMC Level 2 requirements
- Experience with GSA OASIS+ contract vehicles and/or the incumbent J3-I contract
- Direct familiarity with the J3-I mission set at MacDill AFB
- PMP (or equivalent) and foreign language proficiency
