TL;DR
Site Reliability Engineer (Fintech): Maintaining high availability and performance of distributed systems with an accent on observability, metrics analysis, and incident management. Focus on troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, automating reliability solutions, and facilitating blameless postmortems to ensure system stability.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from Limassol, Cyprus (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Analyze system metrics and logs to perform tuning and fault-finding across infrastructure layers.
- Improve observability and reliability by correlating data across distributed systems.
- Facilitate firefighting processes and provide issue summaries for product and platform teams.
- Conduct blameless postmortems and root cause analysis investigations.
- Contribute to documentation, run-books, and automation tools.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and conducting technical workshops.
Requirements
- Advanced Linux administration experience.
- Solid programming experience in Go, Python, C++, or Java.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or Terraform.
- Proficiency with observability tools like DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Jaeger.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS EKS, Alicloud ACS) and Rancher.
- Background in working with globally distributed systems.
