What you will do

• Collect and analyze industry data to identify market trends.
• Maintain and execute simulation and computational models for power market dispatch and resource forecasting.
• Ensure data flows between research teams meet quality and timeliness specifications.
• Complete complex ad-hoc data requests to support commercial research goals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to deepen understanding of European market dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in a quantitative, statistical, energy, or economics field.
• Must have the legal Right to Work in the UK.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an eye for detail.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and relevant analytical tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, SQL, or Power Query.
• Knowledge of European power markets and decarbonization implications.
