What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of 3-4 Schemes and MGA analysts, setting priorities and coaching on technical and commercial skills.
• Assess new Schemes and MGA opportunities and provide independent reviews for senior underwriting management.
• Design and create visualisation tools to support active performance and portfolio management.
• Identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve the performance of the existing portfolio.
• Collaborate with data teams to assess external datasets and implement new technologies like cloud-based data warehouses.
• Develop and execute performance strategies to ensure the successful delivery of growth targets.

Requirements

• Leadership experience managing and developing analytical, pricing, or portfolio management teams.
• Strong insurance market experience with exposure to Schemes, MGAs, or underwriting performance management.
• Proven proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Power BI.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to shape portfolio strategy and influence business performance.
• Deep understanding of portfolio pricing, actuarial reserving, and performance management methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
