What you will do

• Translate scientific research, algorithms, and prototypes into production-ready software features.
• Own features end-to-end, from problem definition and solution validation to measuring real-world impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize development and ensure scientific rigor.
• Work across the full technology stack, including frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning.
• Optimize and scale performance-critical components.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance development speed and quality.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering (MSc or PhD level).
• 4+ years of experience building and delivering software products with end-to-end ownership.
• Proven track record of transforming scientific research or prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Strong expertise in Python and scientific computing.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in research-driven environments.
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
