What you will do

• Validate and optimize advanced network subsystems built on high-speed PHY IP and 400G technologies.
• Perform rigorous stress tests to validate firmware-managed Ethernet and PCIe links.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve complex issues spanning electrical signaling and L1-2 protocols.
• Characterize copper and optical interconnects and switches for compliance and interoperability.
• Collaborate with IP design, silicon integration, and electrical validation teams to meet product requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• Regular on-site presence in Hillsboro, Oregon is required.
• 1+ years of experience with serial link disciplines such as Ethernet, PCIe, or USB.
• Foundational knowledge of analog and digital domains (voltage, current, impedance, frequency).
• Proficiency with Linux OS and scripting languages like Python for task automation.
• Experience with memory operations and hexadecimal notation.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of practical engineering experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with schematic and layout tools for HW design interpretation.
• Knowledge of IEEE Std. 802.3-2022 or other high-speed serial communication standards.
• Experience with Microcontrollers, FPGAs, or programmable devices.
