Head of Ground Integration (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, CA. Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR compliance) and hold Top Secret Clearance.

What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term vision for end-to-end ground systems integration.
• Direct technical investment in in-house infrastructure and manage third-party mission partnerships.
• Architect ground systems capable of operating at multiple classification levels for secure constellation operations.
• Build and lead a team of experienced ground integration engineers.
• Ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure systems at startup speed.
• Represent the company in recruiting, industry events, and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR regulations.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of leadership experience at the department or organizational level.
• Proven success building and scaling high-impact engineering teams.
• Deep experience with classified systems and their security requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or mission-critical systems.
• Proficiency in Python, C#.NET, Go, or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud systems, CI/CD, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of architectures supporting ground and orbital systems for government and commercial space.
