What you will do

• Monitor SIEM, XDR, and SOAR telemetry to identify and triage security alerts and anomalies.
• Lead incident investigations, including scoping, containment, and root cause analysis.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-fidelity detection rules and correlation logic.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting based on current TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Configure and maintain security platforms including IDS/IPS, WAF, CASB, DLP, and PAM.
• Provide mentorship and training to other engineers within the SecOps team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT or cybersecurity.
• Strong proficiency in incident response, forensics, and threat hunting.
• Ability to work independently and drive complex security incidents to closure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder management.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Certifications: GCIA, GMON, GDAT, CySA+, CASP+, or CISSP.
• Experience with SentinelOne, Zscaler ZIA, Google Secops, or Azure/M365 security tooling.
