Clinical Research Engagement Lead (Pharma)

Location: New Orleans, LA. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of the Primary Location and within 30 miles of a major airport.

Salary: $103,300 - $191,900

What you will do

• Develop and execute country-level site engagement strategies and make strategic investment decisions regarding Principal Investigators and clinical sites.
• Conduct strategic landscaping and site engagement to identify optimal sites and accelerate recruitment during study set-up.
• Act as a "site champion" and primary point of contact, building deep relationships with investigators, pharmacists, and administration.
• Serve as the local escalation point for study challenges, monitor investigator performance, and manage sensitive communications.
• Partner with internal teams (Medical Affairs, Study Start-Up) and CROs to ensure unified site communication and documentation.
• Drive the adoption of Digital Clinical Trial (DCT) solutions, including eConsent and eSource, at clinical sites.

Requirements

• Degree (MD, PhD, MA/MS, BA/BS) in life sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of clinical research or clinical operations experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
• Expert understanding of ICH/GCP and end-to-end clinical trial processes.
• Proven track record in managing site relationships and overseeing complex clinical trials.
• Must reside within 50 miles of New Orleans, LA and 30 miles of a major airport.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically between 30-50% based on business needs.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate or master’s degree.
• Strong existing network within the regional healthcare ecosystem.
• Extensive experience in early and late phase oncology or multiple non-oncology therapeutic areas.
