AVP Of Product Security (Cybersecurity): Driving security into product development and scaling company-wide efforts with an accent on security architecture and vulnerability management. Location: Hybrid (Must be based in or near Dallas, TX or Hoboken, NJ), working up to three days per week in office.

What you will do

• Establish secure-by-design standards and target state security architecture across product development.
• Build and manage a formal vulnerability management program encompassing traditional threats and AI-specific risks.
• Shift security left into the SDLC to reduce risk and remediation costs early in the release cycle.
• Define security architecture patterns and guardrails to enable secure AI adoption across products and internal systems.
• Own risk-based prioritization, remediation SLAs, and executive reporting for enterprise vulnerability management.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of product security engineers and security architects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of information security experience, with 5+ years leading product security or security architecture.
• Proven experience embedding security into SDLC within a software or SaaS organization.
• Deep security architecture expertise across cloud-native and hybrid environments, preferably Azure.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI and ML security controls.
• Track record of influencing executive leadership and driving alignment across Product and Engineering.
• Must be based in the USA to comply with the hybrid work model in specified locations.

Nice to have

• Experience securing agentic AI systems or AI-enabled products in production.
• Familiarity with identity security, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, SABSA, or TOGAF.
