Compensation: $107,500–$188,400 USD

What you will do

• Lead customer implementation projects for CCH SureTax® across SAP and other ERP environments.
• Assess business and indirect tax requirements to design and implement effective tax determination strategies.
• Develop functional design documentation and oversee solution validation through testing and acceptance.
• Serve as a functional and technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, including gap analysis and change management.
• Collaborate with integration, development, and implementation partners to ensure successful deployment.
• Provide Tier 2 support and escalation assistance for complex implementation and integration issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing indirect tax solutions within SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience implementing and integrating tax technologies such as CCH SureTax®, Vertex, or Avalara.
• Consulting experience supporting enterprise software implementations, including requirements gathering and solution design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for effective stakeholder communication.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for customer implementations and strategic meetings.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• SAP certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or Acumatica.
• Knowledge of indirect tax concepts across industries like retail, software, or telecommunications.
