Global Indirect Tax Automation Manager (ERP): Implementing and building third-party tax systems with major ERP and billing platforms with an accent on system integration, requirements gathering, and custom software development. Focus on managing end-to-end implementation cycles, optimizing Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay streams, and leading technical teams to meet client needs.
Location: Hybrid (USA). Must be based in the US and require in-person attendance at least three days per week at a GT office or client site.
Salary: $151,800 – $189,750

What you will do
- Lead the implementation of third-party tax software (Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, etc.) and custom software development projects.
- Manage system integration projects involving major ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards.
- Perform requirements analysis and design for indirect tax software implementations.
- Oversee programming for custom system interfaces and modifications of existing interfaces.
- Develop and deliver critical project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and test plans.
- Mentor and lead staff to execute core project activities and participate in sales and proposal development.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States to support hybrid office attendance.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
- PMP, Six Sigma, Lean certification, or a Master's degree in Accounting, Tax Business Administration, Finance, or Information Systems Tax.
- 5+ years of functional and/or technical experience with SAP or Oracle.
- 2+ years of Oracle EBS/ERP Cloud or SAP ABAP design and development experience.
- Deep technical knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay streams and SAP/Oracle table structures.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP Namespace development.
- Prior experience working in public accounting.
