What you will do

• Design and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation.
• Manage data infrastructure components using AWS cloud services and Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and autonomy engineering teams to build custom data solutions.
• Optimize data processing systems for maximum performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure the operational stability of data pipelines.
• Promote and implement best practices in data governance, quality, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of recent professional software engineering experience focused on data-related projects.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++.
• Experience with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Flink, Kinesis) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience using orchestrators like Apache Airflow and transformation tools like DBT.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or data lake architectures.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools and practices.
• Prior experience using various Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools.
