Location: Remote Eligible (Must work Alaska time zone business hours)

Salary: $61,880 – $102,720

What you will do

• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure successful routing of 911 and emergency calls to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).
• Identify, track, and report FCC and 911 issues, and communicate outage information internally and to relevant agencies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for PSAPs, State Troopers, and other local and state agencies handling 911.
• Maintain the 911 Wireless Outage Calculator as mandated by the FCC.
• Manage 911 Route change requests and coordinate with the Traffic Engineering group.
• Support TAC Compliance Filings including NORS, PSAP, RCA, and NOTAMs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with public or private telecom networks or related fields.
• Must be able to work Alaska time zone business hours.
• High-level understanding of wireline, wireless, and broadband networks.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local statutes governing the delivery of 911 traffic.
• Proficiency in MS Office and demonstrated ability to use FCC databases.

• Direct experience with 911 technologies and/or PSAPs.
• Professional telecom industry or job-specific certifications.
