What you will do

• Manage the bill pay process and ensure accurate, timely payment of vendor invoices.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across all accounts.
• Own prepaid expense schedules and amortize balances in accordance with GAAP.
• Handle fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
• Prepare monthly accruals and maintain records for all security deposits.
• Oversee the annual 1099 preparation and filing process for IRS submission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in public or private sectors.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in the United States.
