ERP Infrastructure Architect

Location: Remote, anywhere in Japan

What you will do

• Manage multiple client projects to establish remote access to client networks and ERP environments.
• Coordinate internal teams, clients, prospects, and other stakeholders throughout technical onboarding.
• Resolve complex issues involving JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion, SAP, and related database platforms.
• Install software tools, manage software archiving tasks, and develop alternative solutions for access and environment issues.
• Lead client calls, explain technical onboarding requirements, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Track project status and ISO compliance evidence while driving process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, computer science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of technical experience with ERP applications and experience with ERP implementation or upgrade processes.
• Experience with one or more of JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite, or SAP, plus Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 databases.
• Familiarity with remote access connectivity, Windows and UNIX environments, and technical installation and configuration.
• Project management experience, strong client communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Native or fluent Japanese for business and technology communication; the role must be performed remotely from Japan.

• Exposure to ISO 9000, ISO 9001, or ISO 27001 processes.
• ITIL certification.
• Project management certification.
