Senior Software Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (C#/Golang): Designing and implementing new products and enhancements across the full development lifecycle, from concept and technical design through testing, release to QA, and production implementation with an accent on API/Web Services, code quality, and reliability. Focus on building and debugging production software with an emphasis on SOLID/design patterns, unit/integration testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Location: Hybrid — must reside within 70 miles of an office in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Monett, MO; or Springfield, MO

What you will do

• Participate in and may lead technical design and implementation of new products and enhancements.
• Perform system analysis, programming, and engineering support from code delivery through application retirement.
• Develop, test, and review applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products; debug and troubleshoot production issues.
• Lead or contribute to unit tests and integration tests to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Create technical documentation and may contribute to product architecture.

Requirements

• Must reside within 70 miles of one of the listed office locations.
• Minimum 6 years of technical experience in software engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with C# or Golang.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with design patterns and/or SOLID principles.
• Position is ineligible for immigration sponsorship and support (no H-1B/PERM).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with GCP or other cloud technologies.
• Experience with APIs and middleware.
• Experience with multi-tenant software platforms.
