What you will do

• Provide pre-sales support by defining end-to-end technical solutions and managing RFP requirements.
• Simulate complex optical systems including transmitters, receivers, and link budgets.
• Analyze system performance using statistical data techniques to identify improvement opportunities.
• Define optical test methodologies and evaluate results to validate field trial performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable technologies.
• Mentor junior and new engineers to foster team growth.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Physics.
• Proven experience leading technical studies and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience utilizing AI models to improve engineering efficiency.
• Strong desire to lead and mentor team members.

Nice to have

• Experience designing optical communication systems in telecommunications or data communications environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams.
