What you will do

• Develop and validate new wet process applications for customer and internal initiatives.
• Execute experiments, analyze results, and maintain Best Known Methods (BKMs) for process control and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional R&D, sales, and service teams to enhance system performance.
• Support customer demos and R&D projects in Taiwan and the U.S. Applications Lab.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with cleanroom protocols and chemical handling safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, Master’s with 3+ years, or a PhD.
• Must be based in Taiwan.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 50% (including visits to US headquarters).
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Physical capability for lifting up to 50 lbs and wearing cleanroom attire.
• Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom fabs preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with metrology tools (e.g., SEM, AFM, ellipsometer, profilometer, particle counters).
• Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Comfort handling acids, bases, and solvents with appropriate PPE.
