Location: United States (Travel up to 30%)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Data and AI solutions.
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts for strategic customer projects.
• Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications.
• Provide escalated support for critical customer operational issues.
• Evangelize Databricks-driven open-source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) across developer communities.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging in at least one of Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in Data Engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), Data Warehousing, or Data Science and ML.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research).
• Databricks Certification.
