What you will do
- Provide post-sales technical leadership to guide strategic customers in big data project design and implementation.
- Architect production-level workloads, including performance testing and optimization of end-to-end pipeline loads.
- Identify and drive new initiatives to help customers turn data into actionable business value.
- Deliver tutorials, training sessions, and presentations to promote community adoption of Databricks.
- Collaborate with customers on technical roadmaps and strategic platform expansion.
Requirements
- Advanced English skills (written and spoken) are required.
- Must be based in Brazil with significant time zone overlap with clients.
- Over 5 years of experience as a Software or Data Engineer with expertise in query and performance tuning.
- Hands-on technical expertise with Apache Spark and Databricks (multiple large-scale projects).
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java and experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Nice to have
- Experience in Data Science/ML Engineering including model lifecycle and MLFlow.
- Background in consulting or pre-sales/post-sales technical architecture guidance.
