What you will do

• Provide post-sales technical leadership to guide strategic customers in big data project design and implementation.
• Architect production-level workloads, including performance testing and optimization of end-to-end pipeline loads.
• Identify and drive new initiatives to help customers turn data into actionable business value.
• Deliver tutorials, training sessions, and presentations to promote community adoption of Databricks.
• Collaborate with customers on technical roadmaps and strategic platform expansion.

Requirements

• Advanced English skills (written and spoken) are required.
• Must be based in Brazil with significant time zone overlap with clients.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Software or Data Engineer with expertise in query and performance tuning.
• Hands-on technical expertise with Apache Spark and Databricks (multiple large-scale projects).
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java and experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to have

• Experience in Data Science/ML Engineering including model lifecycle and MLFlow.
• Background in consulting or pre-sales/post-sales technical architecture guidance.
