Salary: $182,720 – $274,080 (US) / CA$151,970 – CA$227,955 (Canada)

What you will do

• Direct and manage security engineering and operations teams, overseeing hiring, performance, and career development.
• Design and implement continuous hardening of security controls across corporate, cloud (AWS), and hosting environments.
• Build security automation and integrations using SOAR, detection-as-code, and infrastructure-as-code guardrails.
• Manage the security tooling stack (EDR/XDR, SIEM, Identity Protection, DLP/CASB) and the MDR vendor relationship.
• Drive threat detection and incident response capabilities, serving as the incident manager for significant events.
• Lead security engineering for enterprise AI adoption, establishing controls and guardrails for safe internal use.

Requirements

• 10+ years in information security, including 4+ years in a lead or management role.
• Expert hands-on knowledge of security engineering (controls, automation) and security operations (detection, IR).
• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon platform and SIEM/SOAR orchestration.
• Strong foundation in AWS cloud security and zero-trust architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Must be based in the US, Canada, UK, Philippines, or Romania.

Nice to have

• CISSP or CISM certifications.
• Experience in a remote-first SaaS or PE-backed environment.
