Senior Solutions Engineer (Data Infrastructure)

Location: Schiphol-Rijk, North Holland, Netherlands; hybrid working environment with in-office and/or in-person expectations.

What you will do

• Own the technical relationship with enterprise customers and partner with Client Executives across existing accounts and new opportunities.
• Design, architect, and configure solutions for complex enterprise environments and manage multiple sales opportunities.
• Lead customer discovery around AI readiness, data strategy, hybrid cloud, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct hands-on proofs of concept, technical workshops, commercial presentations, and RFP responses.
• Collaborate with client executives, channel partners, specialists, and internal teams to drive demand generation, enablement, joint selling, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to prospective customer sites and locations as necessary.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience supporting enterprise or large customers through complex sales cycles; financial services experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data storage, data protection and continuity including cyber resilience, virtualization, containers, and ideally cloud architectures.
• Strong technical pre-sales, discovery, communication, presentation, and customer workshop skills.
• Ability to create ROI/TCO overviews, explain competitive advantages, and translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Excellent written and verbal Dutch and English communication skills required.
• A bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years of related experience.
