What you will do

• Act as subject matter expert for Software Asset Management (SAM), producing Effective License Positions (ELPs) and guiding complex licensing topics.
• Manage and optimize software licensing for major enterprise vendors to ensure compliance and maximize business value.
• Interpret and apply software licensing concepts and product use rights across containers, cloud platforms, and traditional infrastructure.
• Use enterprise data sources (Azure Active Directory, CMDB, My Access, Intune) to support SAM, billing, cost allocation, and reporting.
• Run chargeback processes and enable fair cost allocation to Business Units and Service Owners based on actual consumption.
• Lead initiatives for software cost savings, mitigate compliance risks, and improve SAM governance, controls, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in software portfolio management for major software publishers in an enterprise environment.
• Experience creating comprehensive, fully optimized ELPs from data collection through completion.
• Strong understanding of license restrictions, benefits, and optimization opportunities.
• Proficiency with SAM tools (ideally FlexeraOne) and supporting data sources.
• Advanced hands-on MS Excel skills (V/HLOOKUP, pivots, complex calculations).
• Fluent spoken and written English (strong B2+).
