What you will do

• Validate end-to-end payroll cycles for UK, France, Italy, and Portugal.
• Monitor regional legislative changes and ensure compliance with local tax and labor regulations.
• Manage relationships with local payroll providers to ensure SLA and KPI adherence.
• Align regional payroll workflows with Global Payroll Hub standards.
• Act as the Tier 2 escalation point for complex payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Tax, and Legal departments to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in multi-national payroll.
• Proven experience in Portuguese payroll processes is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Southern European labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms like Workday or SAP.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French, Italian, or Portuguese for communication with local authorities.
