What you will do

• Oversee full-process quality control for welding and machining of large mechanical structural parts.
• Manage the entire workflow from incoming material inspection to finished product delivery.
• Lead quality deviation analysis, process implementation, and issue closed-loop management.
• Optimize quality procedures for the heavy parts workshop to ensure effective system operation.
• Ensure welding performance and dimensional accuracy comply with drawing specifications.
• Collaborate with technical engineers, finance, and health and safety professionals.

Requirements

• College diploma or above in mechanical manufacturing, welding, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in welding and machining of large structural components.
• Proficiency in welding processes (GMAW, SAW, SMAW) and thick carbon/low-alloy steel characteristics.
• Expertise in reading mechanical drawings, geometric tolerances, and identifying machining defects.
• Ability to work on the production frontline long-term in a workshop environment.
• Proficiency in Office software for reporting and data analysis.

• NDT non-destructive testing certificate.
• Welding inspector certificate.
