What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation processes.
• Manage European group statutory accounts and serve as the primary contact for group and statutory audits.
• Oversee European group cash flow reporting, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Handle technical accounting areas including IFRS 16 leases, goodwill, acquisition accounting, and development cost reconciliation.
• Coordinate financial reporting with local teams and the Japanese head office.
• Support the VP Finance with technical accounting issues and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 5+ years of post-qualified experience.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS reporting, consolidation policies, and accounting controls.
• Strong proficiency in IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (Oracle R12 preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
• Must be able to work on-site in London 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Acquisition accounting experience.
• Audit experience and familiarity with fast-closing procedures.
• Knowledge of BI tools.
