TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or near New York City. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement with a combination of onsite work and flexibility to work from home.

Salary: $63,000 – $75,000

What you will do

  • Develop holistic, strategic media plans in partnership with supervisors and directors.
  • Manage day-to-day planning responsibilities, including client status calls and budget upkeep.
  • Collaborate with investment and analytics teams to incorporate actionable audience insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor media trends and client performance to ensure plan accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and review the work of assistant planners to ensure high-quality output.
  • Articulate quantitative media strategy elements such as media mix, reach, frequency, and flighting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in media planning at an ad agency.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with very high proficiency in Excel.
  • Must be based in or near New York City for hybrid work.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
