TL;DR

Manager, Asset Management: Financial and commercial management of distributed and community solar projects across the United States with an accent on P&L control, value optimization, and risk mitigation across the full operational lifecycle. What you will do

  • Manage P&L and cash position for generating assets in the assigned portfolio, including monthly performance/variance review and remediation.
  • Develop annual project budgets and maintain monthly accrual/cash forecasts and financial models.
  • Oversee commercial management and compliance under project agreements and incentive programs, including reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage counterparties and resolve commercial issues (including mediation or litigation), and negotiate/amend contracts to mitigate risk and improve performance.
  • Lead operational management: manage third-party O&M providers, run root-cause analysis for underperforming assets, and optimize spare parts strategy.
  • Conduct remote monitoring of solar projects via online data acquisition systems and support major initiatives (divestitures, capital investment, refinance, revenue enhancement).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of energy industry experience in asset management, O&M management, project administration, project finance, contract administration, or related commercial roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including understanding renewable financial models and the full capital stack (tax equity, debt, and cash equity).
  • Strong grasp of technical solar project details and ability to collaborate effectively with operational and technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex issues clearly to customers, off-takers, and investors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
