What you will do

• Execute copyediting for all content enhancements and new product development, correcting punctuation, grammar, and style.
• Perform fact-checking and verification of names, places, organizations, dates, and statistics.
• Collaborate with copyedit team members to successfully meet project milestones and deliverables.
• Utilize departmental tools and guides to ensure strict adherence to style and formatting standards.
• Exchange constructive peer feedback to apply best practices regarding editing methods and effectiveness.
• Identify and share insights to optimize the efficiency of the curriculum production phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English or a related field.
• 1 year of experience as a copyeditor with responsibilities for technical format and style adherence.
• Working knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
• Must be located in Pennsylvania, United States.

Nice to have

• 2 years of copyediting experience.
• Experience with Smartsheets or similar project management software.
