What you will do

• Program hirify.global Finance desktop, mobile web, and app experiences for breaking news and key editorial moments.
• Optimize story placement, headlines, thumbnails, framing, and recirculation to improve engagement while maintaining accuracy and trust.
• Draft, iterate, and optimize alternative SEO headlines and mobile alerts using approved AI tools.
• Write, edit, and send timely, accurate mobile alerts that translate complex financial news into clear language.
• Use analytics and internal AI-driven audience recommendation systems to guide programming decisions and share insights with colleagues.
• Collaborate with editors, reporters, video, social, product, and analytics teams; support a test-and-learn culture and continuous experimentation.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as an editor at a media organization, including digital media, newsroom programming, audience development, or homepage editing.
• Strong editorial judgment and experience making real-time framing decisions in a high-velocity news environment.
• Professional experience with headline writing, content curation, copy editing, SEO, and Google Trends.
• Demonstrated experience using generative AI applications (e.g., Google Gemini, ChatGPT) for structured prompt engineering and copy refinement.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop editorial governance to validate, fact-check, and refine AI-generated text.
• Ability to work a consistent weekend schedule (shifts listed in ET).
