What you will do

• Lead technical direction for complex feature development within the hirify.global SQL Engine.
• Design, implement, and validate database and query optimization features using an Agile framework.
• Conduct competitive analysis of database management systems to enhance product advantages.
• Design and maintain the LLVM-based query Parsing Engine.
• Partner with feature managers on technical planning, project tracking, and status reporting.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to a group of software engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience (or Master's with 8+, Ph.D. with 5+).
• Deep expertise in C/C++ and proficiency in Java, Python, R, and SQL.
• Proven technical leadership in cloud-based data management and query processing.
• Strong understanding of AWS and public cloud technologies.
• Experience designing large-scale, elastic, and highly available distributed systems.
• Ability to debug complex software in parallel processing environments.
