What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Deliver trusted data sets from complex sources to support internal stakeholders and customers.
• Optimize data environments and troubleshoot technical infrastructure issues to improve system performance.
• Establish and document data management standards, architectural patterns, and governance practices.
• Automate processes to reduce operational complexity and increase efficiency through innovative solutions.
• Develop reference architectures for consistent data acquisition, transformation, and storage.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with pipelines, ingestion, and ETL/ELT processes (or 2+ years of software engineering).
• 4+ years of cloud experience, preferably across multiple cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong SQL development skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Expertise with AWS cloud services and data platforms like Snowflake.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience developing RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js or Python.
• Strong understanding of source control and versioning using Git.
